AIT Quality Programs

 

Amer Industrial Technologies, Inc. has maintained an audited and approved ASME NQA-1, QA/QC program for the past 34 years. AIT is independently audited by several agencies, including ASME, every three (3) years in order for us to keep our accreditation current and up to date. AIT also conducts internal audits annually to make sure that our QA/QC Department and Programs are performing well. The AIT eighteen (18) point NRC approved 10CFR50 Appendix B Quality Assurance Program describes the Controlled System established by the management for the supply, manufacture and testing of materials and the construction of items in accordance with Code requirements. Our programs have been designed to meet the Program documentation requirements of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section III, Division 1 & 3 and 10CFR 50, Appendix B. Our proven achievements in quality have earned us ASME Accreditation and National Board Certification.

 

AIT, under the supervision of and in coordination with the ASME, has created an enhanced quality assurance program.

AIT retains Non Destructive Examination (NDE) procedures that have been ASME audited and accepted. Our Authorized Nuclear Inspection agency has also audited and accepted these procedures. To ensure that nondestructive examination (NDE) is performed by qualified and certified personnel and in accordance with the Code requirements, AIT retains the responsibility for all Non-Destructive Examinations including those performed by our approved subcontractors. Our Q.A. Manager is responsible to ensure that only Qualified and Certified personnel are used to perform Code required NDE. The Training Qualification and Certification of AIT and subcontractors shall be in accordance with a documented Written Practice meeting the requirements of the latest Code accepted edition of SNT-TC-1A and the Code and approved by the QA Manager.
